African Wax Print 100% Cotton| Toghu Print/Atoghu – Ultimate Traditional Designs
African Wax Print is the one of the most common type of African fabrics throughout the continent and is characterized by having bold colors and designs. It may also be referred to as African Prints, Wax Prints, Dutch Wax, Kitenge, Toghu Print and Shweshwe among many other names. The material is most commonly printed on 100% cotton, but polyester and polycotton versions are also very common.
African Wax Print is made with the traditional patterns of the tribes in the Grass fields region of Cameroon, Central Africa. Ideal for making African clothing for sewing African dresses, African shirt, pillow case, table cloth, curtain, African handbag shoes, head wrap, home decoration etc.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR AFRICAN WAX PRINT
NB; To preserve the African Wax Print and or Toghu Print, please dry clean only. You don’t mind losing the wax finish, machine wash on cold, line dry or tumble dry on low heat.
To choose the correct size for yourself, please measure your body and place your order or send us a picture of your current self.
HOW TO MEASURE
Bust: With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.
Hips: With your feet approximately 6″ apart, measure around the fullest part of your hips. This area usually corresponds to the top of your legs.
